Day 5 - Family, Friends, Food, Fun, and Finally,,,

Day 5 - Stowe VT to Boston MA

So my plan for a wonderful visit to Stowe, Vermont was thwarted by the weather. I'd even been willing to settle for a ride up Mt. Mansfield in the early morning, just so Sean could see what I was so excited about.

The fog crushed that idea, so we headed down the road through New Hampshire

and the White Mountain National Forest.

We ended up behind an old sedan for several miles. We didn't mind though, The car and surroundings made for some great pictures.

We made a quick stop in Maine...

and a much less-foggy ride

into Massachusetts.

Sean's uncle Vince lives just outside Boston so we invited ourselves to stay with him for a couple days and let him show us around his city.

We'd both visited Boston at different times in our lives, but having Vince as a tour guide made it so much fun!

We started with dinner on the pier,

which made for great food

and fantastic people watching. The US Women's Soccer Finals were that evening

so the crowds were especially rambunctious!


Next Vince took us on an evening car tour of all things Boston,

and ended back at his place ready for more the next day.
