Dover to Amesbury, England
Since we didn't get to go on our Cliffs of Dover Cruise, we got up early and hiked over to the iconic cliffs that are featured in every photo spread of England.
It was a nice hike, and at 6:30 am we had the place to ourselves.
After our morning exercise,
we rode back to Woking to get a couple needed adjustments on the bike.
Then made our way to Amesbury for the night.
Part of the joy of traveling very light (we take only what fits in the side bags of the bike) is finding somewhere to do laundry before you completely run out of clothes. Luckily, Amesbury was able to accomodate us.
After our inability to find something to eat in Dover, we were excited to sit down to some good pub food and relax.
Unfortunately, Amesbury seemed to have the same issue with their cooks/kitchens/water mains that Dover experienced. So, it was Italian again - though we couldn't complain, we were really lucky to find anywhere that served food.
